Shirayuki Face Cloths are crafted with care in Nara, Japan. For hundreds of years, Nara has been the center of crafting innovation and beauty in Japan, especially with fabrics.
The front side is beautifully dyed with Yuzen dyeing, and the back side is a plain colour that matches the pattern. The beautiful patterns are dyed into the cloth using the Yuzen technique, named for its creator, Yuzen-sai Miyazaki, a 17th century fan surface painting artist in Kyoto. This traditional dyeing technique has been used in all manners of Japanese textile production ever since.

For best care: Soak in hot water thoroughly before use. Fabric will become soft once starch has been removed.
