From the desert to the sea, the Austin has a wide brim for ultimate sun protection. It is hand braided from natural raffia straw with a premium dense weave. Designed to get you from dusty roads to salty seas and everywhere between.
Grown in the coastal valleys of Madagascar, raffia is a soft, pliable, durable and biodegradable fibre making it a perfect material choice. Raffia fibres are taken from the raffia palm leaf, allowing a sustainable harvest that doesn’t harm the plant, which is left living, continuing to grow and produce. Highly skilled artisans hand-weave the fibres into unique hats with beautiful colour and natural texture.

The best way to determine what your size is to measure the circumference of your head where you want to wear it. This hat comes with an adjustable sweatband. A tab sits underneath the sweatband & adjusting it will bring the hat down by approximately one size. Eg. size S will adjust between 53-55cm. This will allow you to get a tailored fit or helps if you're in between sizes.
